WHO WE ARE
Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) is a national organization whose mission is to promote women in the fields of science, technology and mathematics. They support women in STEM programs through research grants and fellowships as well as providing networking opportunities and mentorship.
WHY WE'RE HERE
To support, recognize, and empower women in STEM fields in St. Louis and surrounding areas
To encourage diversity in STEM through professional development events, travel grant fellowships, local conferences, and outreach events in the St. Louis community.
To offer networking and leadership opportunities that build a supportive community of people interested in promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM.
